Thomas Hoepker, travelled to London on a photography assignment to meet the then unknown boxer, Muhammad Ali, he would have no idea how iconic and significant he would become. Even then Ali would walk the streets of London, “constantly talking about how wonderful he was: ‘I’m the greatest!’ And indeed he was.” Thomas Hoepker’s photograph Ali Right Fist, London, 1966 is one of the most famous photographs of Ali ever taken. This artwork will never be published again, and is exceedingly scarce.
